- Transition & Contribution at Infra.Market: Commenced my journey as an intern and swiftly evolved into a crucial Back-end Developer role at Infra.Market. My contributions were instrumental in advancing microservices development, placing a strong emphasis on Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and the integration of cutting-edge technologies, utilizing Golang, Kafka, gRPC, Postgres, and Rest API implementation.
- Ticket Management System: Infra.Market is dedicated to offering customers assurance and service support upon the purchase of its branded products. The customer service support actively manages inquiries, troubleshoots issues, coordinates repairs or replacements, and delivers essential technical support. Recognizing the inefficiencies of a manual workflow—manifested in delays, errors, and challenges in data capture—the need for an optimized system became evident. This was particularly crucial considering potential business growth or seasonal fluctuations, where the CX team could be inundated with queries, risking service quality.
To address these challenges, a ticket management system was meticulously designed and implemented. This initiative significantly streamlined after-sales issue resolution and client communication, replacing the previous manual workflow associated with Zendesk-generated tickets. The introduction of robust Test-Driven Development (TDD) processes further ensured system reliability. A comprehensive workflow model was crafted to adeptly manage the intricate business logic tied to ticket states.
Collaborating closely with senior developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams—including Product & QA teams—ensured the delivery of high-quality software products. This collaborative effort encompassed gathering requirements, formulating technical specifications, and conducting comprehensive feature testing. Simultaneously, the role encompassed offering technical leadership, emphasizing team management strategies and enhancing developer onboarding processes. -
Payment Feature Development:
Pioneered the creation and deployment of critical payment functionalities, encompassing comprehensive cash management, automated returns-refunds, and EDC integration tailored for FOFO stores (A web app named 'Photon' is used in Infra.Market FOFO stores for placing the order). Leadership was provided in leading migration projects and initiating automation strategies, bolstering operational efficiency and scalability.
Return/Refund System: Addressed the challenge where returns, credit note payments, refunds initiation, and customer ledger were not integrated within the POS system. Returns and refunds were previously managed offline, leading to discrepancies in the Photon's customer ledger. Additionally, credit notes weren't synchronized back to Photon, causing inefficiencies. A dedicated refund and return module was developed to streamline these processes.
Cash Management System: Recognized inefficiencies arising from offline daily cash closures within the POS system. This had previously hindered financial operations due to a lack of structured daily cash collections and deposits. The module developed offered visualization of daily cash activities, recording of cash management service slips, individual cash transaction records, and accessible cash management reports. This initiative automated manual tasks and minimized errors, optimizing the cash management process based on business requirements.
EDC Integration: Tackled challenges associated with manual payment entries in Photon's system. The manual process often led to missed transactions, incorrect entries, and challenges with reconciliations. With the integration of Paytm EDC machines across stores, both credit/debit card and UPI payments were streamlined. Recognizing that these payment modes accounted for 50% of transactions, ensuring their accurate recording became paramount. Post-integration, all payment transactions were synced with the D365 accounting system, enhancing accuracy and reliability. - Order Fulfillment Management: During the internship, I was entrusted with the critical responsibility of overseeing the intricate process of order fulfillment. My role demanded a meticulous approach to tracking orders from initiation to delivery. This encompassed managing transitions between order statuses and ensuring users were consistently informed about their orders, from processing through to packed, dispatched, and finally, delivered. The ethos driving this responsibility was a firm belief in the foundational role of accurate and prompt order delivery as the cornerstone of genuine customer satisfaction. To fortify this commitment, I continuously sought avenues to refine and optimize the fulfillment process, recognizing its indispensable role in bolstering customer trust and loyalty. To further enhance user engagement, new features such as WhatsApp notifications for order updates were implemented. Additionally, there was a concerted effort to elevate team proficiency in engineering and uphold stringent code quality standards.
- Software Refactoring & Monitoring: Spearheaded code refactoring initiatives, ensuring codebase robustness and scalability. I oversaw the execution of crucial test cases, integrating advanced Observability tools like New Relic for heightened monitoring capabilities. My collaborative approach spanned cross-functional teams, ensuring end-to-end software quality — from initial requirement analysis and technical specification to comprehensive feature testing and successful production releases.

- Led a winning team in addressing inefficiencies in data collection and analysis. Identified and highlighted a gap in leveraging advanced conversational technology for high-impact applications.
- Presales Process Optimization (Inframarket):
Key Findings:- We realised that there are many situations where important information is not collected quickly and acted upon as people donot want to do data entry . While technology has advanced to a stage where we can understand conversations and derive meaninful insights from it , we donot leverage in in areas where high impact can be created .
- Detailed study of Presales process in Inframarket suggests that there is significant leakage in our lead funnel due to three major reasons:
-   25% calls are abandoned as agents are busy during peak hours or call comes after working hours .There is no mechanism to capture customers requirement unless a CX agent is available at work .
-   Out of calls answered as marked as leads , 42% cases data is not entered in CRM as they agents find form filling ann overhead and reduces their ability to take more inbound calls.
-   More than 60% leads fall through as there is delay between a CX answering call and sales officering calling back the customers . The customer loses interest or changes his mind
